Make content about: Pauline is researching flood risks

Trained to be a nomadic housewife in Kenya, Pauline fought for her education and is now researching flood risk management.

This story

Raised in a nomadic family in Kenya with six siblings, Pauline was trained to build traditional huts and milk livestock while girls were denied schooling. Determined not to follow that path, she continued her studies through to a master's degree. She is now carrying out doctoral research on flood risk management to help communities facing water crises.
