Make content about: Otis finds respite at Zoe's Place

Born at 25 weeks, Otis lives with complex epilepsy and cerebral palsy. Hospice respite gives his family space to recharge.

This story

Otis was born at 25 weeks and survived an early brain bleed, later receiving diagnoses of complex epilepsy and cerebral palsy. His family of six began to struggle with isolation, constantly worrying whether a hospital was nearby if they left home. Respite care at Zoe's Place gave Otis a safe environment and gave his mother time to recharge and be with her other boys.

Where you could take it

Spend a day with Otis and his family to see the difference respite care makes to their weekly routine.
