In 2017, Nigel was diagnosed with an incurable rare genetic condition that is causing the loss of his central vision. For the past ten years, an eye hospital has supported him and his family. Now, Orla and Nigel are preparing to walk 25km around Bakewell in 2027 to raise money for research into the disease.
