Make content about: Ollie looks forward to school again

School caused Ollie overwhelming stress and self-harm until coaching through art helped him learn to cope and enjoy school again.

This story

School caused Ollie overwhelming stress, leading him to scratch his hands until they scabbed over and struggle to sleep. After receiving an autism diagnosis, he began working with an early intervention coach named Anne, who used art to help him explore his feelings and develop coping mechanisms. Now Ollie sleeps better, feels happier, and looks forward to going into school.

Where you could take it

Sit down with Ollie and his mum Alex to paint together and talk through the creative techniques that helped him cope with school.
