Make content about: Noam is sitting on his own
Doctors warned Noam might not make it to age two. Today he is sitting on his own and growing stronger.
This story
Noam was born with low muscle tone and spent months in hospital before being diagnosed at seven months old with Nemaline Myopathy. The rare muscular disease affects his chest, swallowing and facial muscles, making even minor infections dangerous. After ten months in hospital and regular complementary therapy sessions to help him relax and breathe more easily, he returned home where he continues to make steady progress.
Where you could take it
Spend time with Noam and his parents at home to see how his therapy sessions help him relax and build strength.
