Make content about: Nick swam to gold for Team GB

After a stem cell transplant left Nick struggling to walk, he rebuilt his fitness in the pool to win gold for Team GB.

This story

In 2018, Nick was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and underwent intensive chemotherapy alongside a stem cell transplant. The treatment left him severely weakened, taking him 90 minutes just to empty the dishwasher. He rebuilt his strength by swimming at his local pool and went on to win multiple medals representing Team GB at the Transplant Games.
