Make content about: Nadeem wrote a memoir for Sharni
After losing his partner to cancer, Nadeem struggled with severe panic attacks and isolation. Now he has written a book in tribute to her.
This story
Nadeem and his partner Sharni made a home together before Sharni was diagnosed with clear cell sarcoma at twenty-eight. Following treatments, a trial and a final holiday, Sharni died in a hospice in April 2023 at age thirty. Devastated by the loss, Nadeem developed panic attacks and post-traumatic stress disorder, finding focus in making music and walking their dog. He has now written a memoir about their relationship and grief called Eternally my Chick, hoping to release it digitally on Sharni's birthday.
