Make content about: Muktar mentors forty young people
After eight years on a dark path, Muktar returned to football to mentor dozens of young people.
This story
Growing up without a father figure, Muktar found support through community football as a teenager before drifting down a dangerous path in his twenties. After facing near-death experiences, he reconnected with community mentors to volunteer as a coach. Today, he works as a project co-ordinator, supporting and mentoring around forty young people on and off the pitch.
