Make content about: Muir is thriving outdoors

Muir's family faced years of hospital visits and uncertainty. Now he has found a haven where he thrives outdoors.

This story

Muir had his first seizure at four months old and was diagnosed with Dravet syndrome, a rare form of epilepsy, at age five. After years of frequent hospital visits and specialist schooling, his mother Ann was diagnosed with a brain tumour in 2019, prompting the family to search for adult care. At age 22, Muir moved to a residential centre with spacious grounds and animals. He is now settled and spends his time outside whatever the weather, collecting plants and items in a red trolley.
