Make content about: Mike is running the London Marathon

After his niece Freya underwent brain surgery, Mike signed up for the London Marathon to support the charity that helped her.

This story

In 2020, nine-year-old Freya suffered a brain haemorrhage and spent several days in critical condition before doctors discovered an arteriovenous malformation. Brain surgery was ultimately the only option, and a specialist charity stepped in with counselling and guidance for the family. Now that Freya is doing well, Mike is taking on the London Marathon to give back.

Where you could take it

Join Mike on a training run to talk about Freya's recovery and what completing the London Marathon means to their family.
