Ten-year-old Max promised his dying nan he would do something special, so he took on a fitness race.

This story

After his nan was cared for at Community Hospice before she died, ten-year-old Max decided to honour her and his late grandad. He took on a Hyrox fitness challenge, finishing 32nd out of 277 competitors and raising £1,500 for the hospice. Max has now joined a children's gym to train for his next fundraising event.
