Growing up in Hawkshead, Matthew spent years cheering runners tackling ten marathons in ten days around Windermere Lake. After completing his first half marathon and the Windermere Marathon in 2025, he decided to take on the ten marathons challenge himself. He is running to raise money for Brathay Trust to help support young people facing difficult circumstances.
