Make content about: Mandy is exploring nature again
Multiple sclerosis and arthritis severely limited Mandy's mobility, but an off-road wheelchair restored her independence and outdoor adventures.
This story
Mandy served ten years as an RAF aircraft engineer until a back injury forced her to leave. She now lives with arthritis and multiple sclerosis, which causes severe pain, numbness and difficulty walking. After the RAF Association funded a specialist off-road wheelchair, she regained the independence to explore nature reserves and beaches on her own.
Where you could take it
Join Mandy on an outing to the coast in her specialist off-road wheelchair to see how she navigates the terrain.
