Make content about: Louise returned to work as a GP

Louise collapsed at home with a brain haemorrhage. Today she is back working as a GP and raising her three children.

This story

In 2019, Louise collapsed on the stairs with an undiagnosed brain aneurysm while getting her children ready for school. Emergency medics resuscitated her in her doorway and placed her into an induced coma before she spent three weeks in intensive care recovering from brain surgery. Through rehabilitation, she gradually relearned how to walk, write and manage fatigue, eventually returning to work as a doctor.
