Make content about: Lola found confidence in who she is
Lola used to criticise every detail in the mirror. Now she knows her visible difference does not define her.
This story
Lola was born with Goldenhar syndrome, which left her blind in one eye and with one leg shorter than the other. Growing up, she struggled with stares and spent hours picking apart her reflection in the mirror. After connecting with others through Changing Faces and Goldenhar family weekends, she gained confidence and went on to become a crew trainer at work.
Where you could take it
