Make content about: Les brings Jewish history to life

Les started out transcribing cemetery records. Now he guides visitors through history and his own uncovered family roots.

This story

Twelve years ago, newly retired Les began volunteering to transcribe historical records at a cemetery in Willesden. As he walked the grounds, his curiosity led him to research the people buried there, eventually discovering more than a dozen of his own relatives. At 82 years old, he continues to lead themed guided tours that bring British Jewish history to life.
