Make content about: Leo takes the stage with an orchestra

Traditional instruments left Leo feeling shut out of music. Now he performs on stage with an inclusive orchestra.

This story

Leo struggled with traditional instruments and teaching methods, which left him feeling like music was something only other people could do. In 2019, he joined the Bristol ensemble of the National Open Youth Orchestra to play the Clarion. Since then, he has performed on stage at Birmingham Town Hall and received an award for his commitment to the group.

Where you could take it
