Make content about: Lee got his independence back
Decades of knee pain took away Lee's independence until funded surgery helped him walk and drive without pain again.
This story
Lee injured his knee at 19 while serving in the Army, and years after leaving, the worsening pain made walking his dog or driving agonising. An X-ray confirmed he needed a knee replacement, but he faced having to take out a loan before a charity agreed to fund the operation. Since undergoing surgery, he is sleeping better, walking without pain and rebuilding his independence.
