Make content about: Lee takes farm animals to care homes
After caring for his mother through dementia, Lee brought mobile film screenings and farm animals directly to sheltered housing.
This story
Lee and his brother Andrew cared for their mother through frontotemporal dementia until she died. Using that experience, Lee established a dementia support programme at a city farm in Sheffield, taking animals into care homes and organising film nights for sheltered housing residents. He also guides visiting medical students on placement and directs documentary films about dementia and family.
