Make content about: Leah reclaimed her life

A sudden family bereavement left Leah isolated with post-traumatic stress. Therapy gave her the tools to reclaim her life.

This story

After the sudden drug-related death of a family member, twenty-year-old student Leah experienced post-traumatic stress and isolated herself from social situations. She referred herself to a local mental health service and completed fifteen sessions of cognitive behavioural therapy. The sessions helped her process the trauma, manage her emotional responses, and return to walking her dogs and planning trips with friends.
