Make content about: Laura is writing songs through grief
After losing her daughter and son, Laura began writing songs in music therapy to process her grief.
This story
Laura and her partner John lost their daughter Emilia at 20 weeks in November 2023, and their son Harrison six months later, who lived for two hours. Following further losses, including a missed miscarriage and the death of her father, Laura began attending music therapy sessions at a hospice. Working with a therapist, she has written five songs inspired by her children to help navigate her grief and support other bereaved parents.
