Make content about: Kent helped deaf children learn sign

Kent Deaf Children's Society ran animal workshops where shy deaf children learned sign language and grew in confidence.

This story

Supported by volunteers and parents, Kent Deaf Children's Society wanted an accessible way for families to explore sign language together. They ran Animal Encounter workshops where young deaf children met rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes and bearded dragons while learning their signs. The sessions helped shy children build confidence, and the group is now planning a follow-up book and video.
