This story
Kelly has a learning disability and spent a year in a mother and baby unit after her son was born. With daily support from a nearby carer, she and her partner moved into their own home to raise him together. Having once been limited to caring for him alone for thirty minutes at a time, Kelly now travels with him on the bus and looks after him independently.
