Make content about: Kayliegh mentors adults through baking

Kayliegh taught herself to bake in lockdown. Now she uses her baking skills to mentor autistic adults.

This story

Kayliegh taught herself to bake during lockdown and went on to run a successful kitchen-based cake business for around five years. Having joined a regional autism charity in reception and HR, she stepped into a new role developing recipes and food products that autistic adults can learn to make. As a mother to an autistic son, she wants to help create long-term opportunities for young people and adults to build practical work skills.

Where you could take it

Join Kayliegh in the kitchen as she tests a new recipe and works through the steps alongside adults learning food preparation.
