This story
After surviving torture, Kayitesi was trafficked to the UK and locked in a house for months. She managed to escape onto the street without knowing English, eventually learning the language with the help of a kind family. Now living as an asylum seeker separated from her children, she writes with the Write to Life group to process flashbacks and share her story.
