Katie's mum Pauline was diagnosed with pleural mesothelioma in 2023 and died in 2024. Supported by Macmillan nurses through her illness, the family found comfort in the care they received. In 2025, Katie hosted a coffee morning at their tennis club, raising funds and continuing her mum's passion for helping others.
