Make content about: Kal fell back in love with learning
Kal missed most of secondary school before a tutor used heavy metal and gaming to rekindle his love of learning.
This story
Kal missed out on most of secondary school because his autism made it difficult to connect with teachers and other pupils. Everything shifted when he was paired with a tutor who brought a guitar to sessions, using beats, bars and gaming concepts to teach maths. Excited to apply maths to music production, Kal began enjoying education again and asked to sit his maths GCSE.
Where you could take it
Sit down with Kal and his tutor to see how they use guitar chords and music production to work through maths problems.
