This story

After a traumatic family crisis at thirteen led to post-traumatic stress disorder, Julia experienced severe panic attacks and was isolated and bullied until she stopped attending school. Following two years out of education, she joined Red Balloon, where compassionate teachers helped her gain six GCSEs and rediscover her confidence. She went on to complete college and a psychology degree, and now works as a project manager helping deliver a new children's hospital.
