Make content about: Joyce helps women break into fashion

Joyce built her own fashion career, and now she is teaching local women the skills to enter the industry.

This story

After studying textiles and building a career in fashion, Joyce noticed many women faced financial and confidence barriers to entering the industry. In 2018, she launched Alpha Female Academy to run workshops in sewing, pattern cutting, and fashion illustration. Profits from paid classes help subsidise training for women from low-income backgrounds so they can make a living from their work.
