Joseph was diagnosed before birth with hypoplastic left-heart syndrome, leading to two open-heart surgeries in his first four months of life. Complications in intensive care damaged his digestive system, leaving him reliant on tube feeding and careful daily care. Hospice support has given his parents and siblings a safe place to turn while Joseph enjoys hydrotherapy and life at home.
