Make content about: Jodie beat cancer in her jaw
When cancer invaded Jodie's jawbone, vets adapted a human treatment to save the 15-foot python.
This story
Keepers noticed Jodie, a 15-foot reticulated python, was eating less and growing inactive after a malignant jaw tumour returned. Vets removed part of her diseased jawbone and administered electrochemotherapy to target any remaining cancer cells. Jodie has made a full recovery, remaining cancer-free and able to hunt, eat and explore normally.
