Make content about: Jodie made an empty flat a home

Jodie moved out of homelessness into an empty flat. A grant helped her finally furnish it with the basics.

This story

Jodie, 20, had been homeless for several months before moving into an unfurnished one-bedroom flat in Tredegar. Unable to work due to poor physical and mental health, her Universal Credit payments could not cover essential appliances. With guidance from an adviser, she applied for a support grant and was able to buy a cooker, a fridge and a washing machine.
