This story
After decades as a musician and rave DJ in the nineties, Jim kept dancing into his seventies alongside his partner Rita. Following a diagnosis of vascular dementia in November 2025, friends encouraged him to open a box of around 70 cassette recordings of old skool house sets. Jim and Rita decided to share the tapes to raise money for The Brain Charity.
