Make content about: Jill and Jack got their childhood back

Caring for their sister left Jill and Jack exhausted, until dedicated support helped them reclaim their childhood.

This story

After their 15-year-old sister experienced a catastrophic brain injury requiring round-the-clock care, Jill and Jack stepped in to help their parents at home. The responsibilities led to anxiety, fatigue and isolation from their peers. Weekly group sessions and activities gave them much-needed breaks, helping Jack become more outgoing and Jill express her feelings more openly.

Where you could take it

Join Jill and Jack for an afternoon at their local youth club to see how having space of their own helps them balance life as young carers.
