Make content about: Jayne retrained as a hospice nurse
Jayne left fashion in her 40s to retrain as a hospice nurse, later caring for patients where her husband died.
This story
Jayne worked as a fashion pattern cutter before deciding in her 40s to retrain as a nurse. Years after joining the hospice, her husband was cared for on the in-patient unit and died there, and her father later received end-of-life care at the hospice as well. Today she works as a senior nurse practitioner caring for patients in their final days and is taking on a five-day walk along the Great Wall of China to fundraise.
