Make content about: Jayden is stepping into adulthood
Jayden was not expected to live beyond infancy. At eighteen, he is stepping into adulthood alongside the guardians who raised him.
This story
Diagnosed before birth with a rare condition affecting brain development, Jayden was not expected to survive infancy. Fostered at nine months old by Linda and Steve, who later became his legal guardians, he grew up with regular support and respite from a children's hospice. Now eighteen, Jayden has moved into adult services, leaving his family to navigate life with far less support.
Where you could take it
