Make content about: James tackles endurance challenges

After teaching his young cousin to ride a bike, James set out on a series of endurance challenges for Ataxia UK.

This story

After leaving his job, James spent time teaching his ten-year-old cousin to ride a bike despite balance and coordination difficulties. He later learned the boy's uncle has Friedreich's ataxia, and the family faced an ongoing battle to access genetic testing. Wanting to help, James took on a series of challenges, completing a 26-mile walk, a 55-mile cycle ride, and a 21-mile hike with more planned.
