Make content about: Jacob won Apprentice of the Year

After struggling in mainstream school, Jacob mastered independent living, won Apprentice of the Year, and is pursuing his dream of DJing.

This story

Jacob grew up with cerebral palsy, autism, and visual impairment, which made learning in a mainstream classroom isolating. After moving to a specialist college at age 12, he learned independent travel, developed work skills, and moved into supported living. He went on to earn a customer service qualification and win an apprentice of the year award while working in estates.

Where you could take it

Join Jacob on his work rounds as he tests campus alarm systems, then film him DJing with his adapted laptop.
