Make content about: Irene and Linda got online together
Cousins Irene and Linda once felt isolated and feared technology. Now they are online, learning languages and researching family history.
This story
Cousins Irene and Linda grew up in Liverpool, but living without internet left Linda isolated and afraid to even use a remote control. When Linda visited a digital hub for fuel support, she brought Irene along and a staff member encouraged them to try a computer. With donated devices, data and online lessons, Irene now emails relatives while Linda learns Spanish and stays in touch with family in New Zealand.
