This story
Growing up in rural Cornwall, Ida did not know any other deaf children, felt isolated at school and struggled with wearing her hearing aids. Joining a youth board when she was 14 connected her with other deaf young people for the first time and helped her feel proud to be deaf. Now in her final year of university, she is preparing to run a marathon alongside her dad to support other deaf children.
Where you could take it
Join Ida and her dad on a training run to talk through her path from feeling isolated at school to taking on 26 miles.
