Make content about: Iain watches over grazing herds

After seeing cattle panic and get caught in fencing, Iain began volunteering to check on grazing herds in Kent.

This story

While walking his dog near a country park, Iain saw visitors disturb Highland cattle, causing a stampede that left one cow caught in fencing. Having recently moved nearby, he contacted Kent Wildlife Trust to become a volunteer livestock checker. Today, he tracks down four Highland cattle and six Konik ponies across the site, checking them for injuries, inspecting water troughs and monitoring the perimeter fences.

Where you could take it

Join Iain on a livestock check to look for the Highland cattle and Konik ponies, inspect the fences and check the water troughs.
