Make content about: Heather kept her retail team going

Furloughed during lockdown, Heather drew on the support that helped after her brother died to keep her retail team going.

This story

In 2010, Heather's 33-year-old brother died suddenly, and the Retail Trust provided free counselling after she faced a three-month wait through the NHS. During the pandemic, being furloughed from her store took a toll on her health and usual routine. She spent her time checking in on her colleagues' wellbeing, improving her garden, and speaking up for the charity that supported her.
