Make content about: Harper-Jae survived against the odds

Born without a heartbeat, baby Harper-Jae survived thanks to emergency resuscitation, specialist transport, and life-saving cooling treatment.

This story

Harper-Jae's arrival was complicated by shoulder dystocia, and she was born without a heartbeat before 22 minutes of CPR revived her. With her organs shutting down, she urgently needed specialist cooling treatment to protect her brain. A specialist neonatal ambulance team transferred her from Peterborough to Luton, where intensive care saved her life.
