Make content about: Haroon speaks up for young refugees
After ten months isolated in hotels, Haroon found football, English classes and a voice for young refugees.
This story
Haroon arrived in the UK on his own and spent ten months living in hotels across two cities, with no English classes or chances to volunteer. He eventually started volunteering with the Refugee Council, learned English and found places to play football. He now speaks out as part of a youth advocacy group for other people in the asylum system.
