Make content about: Hannah stays active after cancer

Hannah dismissed her irregular periods as ageing, until tests revealed a rare form of ovarian cancer.

This story

Hannah developed irregular periods after having her daughter, which turned out to be a rare granulosa cell tumour rather than a cyst. After surgery to remove both ovaries, her regular follow-ups lapsed during the pandemic, and years later unexpected bleeding revealed the cancer had returned. Following a hysterectomy and the removal of her spleen, she now manages lifelong monitoring and hormone medication while staying active.
