Make content about: Gino found freedom to travel

Gino experienced up to 800 seizures a month, making travel daunting. An adapted vehicle gave his family freedom to travel.

This story

Ten-year-old Gino has a rare genetic condition called 1p36 deletion syndrome, which causes physical and intellectual disabilities and requires full-time wheelchair use. Using public transport was difficult when he experienced seizures, and his family needed reliable travel for hospital visits. With support from a grant for a wheelchair-accessible car, his family can now carry his equipment and travel safely to respite, appointments, and days out.
