Make content about: Georgina took her cards to major shops
Georgina couldn't find greeting cards reflecting African culture, so she started handcrafting them at home and reached the high street.
This story
While on maternity leave, pharmacist Georgina searched for a greeting card representing a friend's African culture and found nothing in shops or online. She made one herself using African fabric and began selling them to friends and family at her son's first birthday party. In under five years, she built her business to become stocked in major retailers including Waterstones, John Lewis and Selfridges.
