Make content about: Gemma is heading to university

Told she was unlikely to ever walk, Gemma learned to move independently and is now preparing for university.

This story

When Gemma was born, her parents were told it was unlikely she would ever walk, and she relied heavily on a wheelchair and mobility aids growing up. Over time she began walking independently and discovered a sense of self-reliance through baking. After taking time out for medical recovery and volunteering, she is now preparing to move into student accommodation for her degree.

Where you could take it
