Make content about: Gemma is running the London Marathon

Gemma lost most of her sight at 19. Now she works at the hospital that treated her and is running a marathon.

This story

Gemma was born with cataracts, but in March 2020 sudden high eye pressure caused severe, permanent sight loss. After nine surgeries, she rebuilt her independence, took up blind sports and became a hospital play specialist. She is now taking on the London Marathon alongside her guide runner Chloe.
