This story
Garry felt very low and began to withdraw while living on his own, often going out just to avoid being by himself in his flat. With help from support workers, he moved into a shared home with a friend, where he gained confidence and began looking forward to every day. He now helps run a weekly social club from his house, sings karaoke, and recently celebrated his 70th birthday with friends.
